When the office moves into home, work-life balance is broken as the boundary between the two is blurred. A home office can be compared to a PARASITE in our home, it not only encroaches our private territory, but also aggressively occupies our downtime. Before its invasion, a home is a place for comfort, family care, and personal recharging; while the 24-hour home office demands higher efficiency and productivity, calling us to sacrifice our home and life. By proposing the PARA | SITE prototype for new WFH normal, we endeavor to re-create the work-life boundary with a solution that is flexible, adaptable, and duplicatable. In this case, work can be parallel to our life.
