What if your project was exposed during an international architecture workshop where hundreds of young professionals, students, news media and press members could observe it, evaluate it and appreciate it?

SCC2015 – Self Construction Competition – aimed at enhancing the potential of the space within the walls of the Ostello del Sole in San Cataldo, only 15km away from Lecce, by the realization of two self-constructed installations.

In the construction phase the SCC2015 workshop involved the members of the two winning groups that, supported by Archistart team, first rendered the design executable and then actually focused on the construction, creating the installations in only 5 days.

The installations realized by SCC winners composed the scenario where 2015 edition of the International Architecture Holiday – IAHsummer15 – took place, where 100 young architecture lovers from all over the world met, lived and worked together for 8 days.
