The workshop “Where are you from?” developed the visual identity of the IAHsummer2019 festival starting from its own identity features and those of the host territory, the city of San Cataldo, Lecce.
The graphic design workshop participants analyzed and de-structured some of the graphic elements typical of the flags of their native countries, combining them with iconographic elements typical of San Cataldo.

Starting from this research two different outputs have been developed:
▪ an alphabet used during the final party by participants and simple passers-by to tell about the festival or San Cataldo through the creation of ad hoc postcards, printed onsite and distributed for free.
▪ flags capable of reflecting and describing the combination of festivals and the host territory in an open and inclusive manner
The graphic design workshop was coordinated by Andrea Guccini and Michele Pastore
