In the heart of Senegal, in Tambacounda Region, extends a small village, Missirah. About 3,5 km away there is a complex of buildings of dubious construction, probably linked to low-cost architectures of the 60s, inspired by the works of Le Corbusier. The complex is an abandoned training centre, which VIS association in collaboration with the Tambacounda Region wants to recover and expand. The project proposal was born as a response to this humanitarian project. The request was the restoration of the current centre with the addiction of new function.
The project tries to answer to these requests through the use of local materials or easily available, and making sure that the same students of the center are able to realize the work.
