Black volumes start to appear on different waterbodies of Italy. Although their appearance, they integrate into any context by embracing a simple geometric shape and making little attempt to tame the landscape.
The water reflection in the mirrored glass creates an illusion of levitation that blends the entire building with the surrounding environment. Inside the cube, the first thing that catches the eye is the water, that can be seen through the horizontal window. Located just above the floor level, the window uncovers a unique interaction with the surface outside. The lack of interior barriers is an effort to disengage from any distractions apart from water. The wooden walls among with the foundation made of plastic bottles make it an affordable option while promoting sustainable living. The volumes are separated and glide independently on the water surface which provides a unique type of experience based on a complete interaction with only one element - water.
