Always considered as a fragile material by definition, the research focuses on the experimental and innovative uses of glass, especially in main load bearing structures.
This research process becomes concrete in the architectural and structural design of an exhibition complex located in L’Aquila, a city deeply hit by the 2009 earthquake.
In this sense, the work of formal and technological research and its design development, attentive to safety, also and above all anti-seismic, is expected to give ideas to subvert misconceptions and reconsider the traditional uses of glass in construction.
