Seven projects along Schallmooser Hauptstraße in Salzburg. 900 meters of site, Kapuzinerberg mountain as background, the Unesco city center to the west, the new industrial area to the east. A continuously changing landscape. Seven projects, on a rhythmical distance, intervene in the hotspots of the site. Five projects are re-use of existing buildings. Two are new interventions, both at the end of the street. An ephemeral castle to the east, a reconnection to the Unesco city to the west. Urban re-definition is made by small local intervention. When good buildings (and programs) are placed in a good relation (but also distance) towards each other, they might set out a new community. This is what the project aims for.
