The research activity for our thesis held at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana takes as a subject both the recovery and reutilization of the old industrial complex called Mladinska Knjiga, which was a former typography.
The building was designed by Savin Sever in the 60s and it represents one of the greatest examples of Slovenian rationalist architecture. Since the 1990s, the industrial complex fell into a state of negligence that caused its slow decay.
