An unconventional look towards floating houses and mountain peaks.
For our project we chose one of the most beautiful Italian lakes - Garda. It took our breath with the view of the emountain over the clear water, the stone houses and narrow streets overlooking the shores on the other side and the glazing sun. The form dirived from the reflection of the peaks into the water and doubles the effect of it. The cozy room is all made ofrecycled wood and is energy independent - the different angles of the roofing are perfect for the instalation of solar tiles and help to get the maximum of the solar energy throughout the day. The batteries for storing it are built into the two solid walls while the other give a perffect view towards rocks and lights of the small towns on shore. For the platform we continue with the eco theme by recycling plastic containrs and pine for covering and connecting them.
