About Me
I am Carmela Conte, I am 27 years old and I come from Italy. In July 2017, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Architecture at University of Naples “Federico II”. After winning a sholarship, my Master’s degree thesis, titled “WaterBronx” was conducted through a “Research Program Abroad” at Columbia University, (GSAPP), NYC; and was researched on-site in New York City. The central theme of this research project was comprised of the redevelopment of the waterfront in the South Bronx which was savaged by Hurricane Sandy. Since March,2018 I am a licensed Architect in Italy.
In addition to my University studies, in 2017 I participated in an intership at an indipendant Engineering Studio Morano in Avellino.
From June 2018 to May 2019, I worked at Kushner Studios, a commercial architectural firm located in Downtown Manhattan (NYC) specializing in residential and commercial property redevelopment and new construction.
