About Me
I am currently an architect and PhD student in Environmental Technological Design at La Sapienza University of Rome. I graduated cum laude and publishing dignity in July 2020 in Architecture with a Master thesis focused on thermo-active plug and play systems for building skins within the context of an architectural regeneration of a marginal area in the outskirts of Rome. My five year academic record earned me the title Graduate with path of excellence for the Faculty of Architecture. Since 2019 I has been collaborating within a community-based interdisciplinary Research-Action group of La Sapienza University, meant to assess the correlations between indoor environment, social-economical conditions and health outcomes. In 2018-2019 I attended the first year of Master at the Technische Universität München thanks to the Erasmus Program, honing my knowledge about climate responsive building design, energy performance and environmental quality. In 2019 I worked at an architecture studio in Munich, ATP Architekten Ingenieure, under the supervision of Florian Beck, professor at the Chair of Architectural Design and Construction at TU München. In 2020 I worked at Alvisi Kirimoto + partners in Rome before winning my PhD scholarship.
